The best
You can either choose to become good at many things, or very good at a few things. An Olympic athlete is not good at the 100m and the 1500m, two different types of cardio systems are required. Likewise a true fighter should not seek to be the best at a single thing, such as the tornado or low kick, rather, he should seek to become as versatile and adaptable as possible. Reaction time and response are the two best things to work on. You will not get a chance to set down your things, you will not get to change clothes. It is how you react to and understand an attacker that defines how well you perform, and possibly, if you win or not.

Physical Math.
There are two basic types of 'style' that are used in martial arts. Positive and Equivalent. A positive maneuver involves increasing the energy between two objects, and by doing so, creating a dramatic change in impulse by way of jolt. An equivalent maneuver involves the preservation of momentum between the two objects. The second technique is the only means with which larger, stronger opponents can be beaten, because it converts their own energy as a means to fight against them.
Adaptation
When your body is specialized in one technique or environment is not able to adapt to other techniques or movements. Just like the dinosaurs suffocating underneath an oxygenless sky, you must strive also to create a technique of no technique, a foundation of martial arts built upon rolling spheres of knowledge, so that you may not suffocate underneath the wind of chaning times.

I wonder if there has ever been a psychological or restaurant study on the most delicious order of ingredients in a hamburger.

Silver Wind
Basic tenants for offensive movement:
Don't twist your body
Twisting movement takes away from the impulse your movement and slows it down
Straightened movements that get rid of excessive steps and motions are key
Don't hold your strength in
Move with balance and follow through
Don't kick the ground to move
Hold your center of balance above where you are standing
Use gravity to fall or push upwards with the knees to rise
If you use force to grip the ground you cannot turn
Don' try to stay in the same place
Although the less steps you take the harder you will be to read

D #15/16
A rollerball set into a counter. Somehow this has something to do with me death. My father and I have rented a moving van, and are going along a dark road at night. My father feels tired, and asks me to drive. As soon as I take the wheel, the ground seems to be 50 feet down, and as I lean forward to look at the winding road, the vehicle begins to turn left and right. I attempt to regain control, but since the van is 50 feet tall, it has enough mass to resist the turns. I crash into something, and then forget everything.
The rollerball is still in my hands, and a woman of high status tells me that I am to work for her by moving a man around using this ball. At the end of her words, I can feel the mechanisms underneath the ball start up and vibrate. With this motion, I slip out of the world I am in, and find myself doing work. Times later, I complete my work, and am transported back into the residence of the woman. When I return she has 3 other guests, A man with a brown hat, a girl with black hair, and a third man whom I cannot describe. They are discussing something, until the woman who is of high status says "low level alert" and the iris in her eyes becomes a rounded vertical bar that touches the bottom of her eyes, like a power button logo. I see through the vapors of the dark that there is a creature with red eyes approaching the 4 people, and they begin to generate "happy fields", or possible some other type of ward. As for myself, the roller begins to vibrate, and I warp out. The creature kills me when I return.
I begin another life as a swordsman, the 6th one in a core. The 4th, the bringer of light has died, murdered by his enemies and possibly be the 1st-3rd. My element is wind.

Silver Wind
Silver wind has 4 different components, not necessarily sequentially ordered.
'Ion' - Sense of balance, perspective and place in your surroundings.
A general way to increase to train 'Ion' is to blindfold yourself. Ion could also be described as using every sense but sight in order to paint a picture of your environment. Most people will find that as they can accurately judge small distances that are within arms reach, they will be able to better judge long distances.
'Rise' - Sense of change in the surroundings
Probably the most applicable to any kind of fighting, 'Rise' is how easily an accurately one can sense his surroundings change. Rise is essentially how often/easily your sense of "Ion" is altered, in other words, your sensitivity of 'Ion'. The only way I know of training a sense of 'Rise' is to go out on the beach on a dark night and to brace for impact against waves. This allows you to have a fairly constant change in "Ion", and also eliminates the interference of a human guessing what another human will do.
'Air' - Control and sense of timing.
Jumping rope helps train this one. Other things that might help include training on things that spin, and also hitting objects in time to a variable beat, somewhere along the lines of 60-200bpm.
'Verge' - Control of limits, self imposed and outer
Try this one last.
